Disney Junior’s “Mira, Royal Detective” - NY Screening
Disney just has an early screening held in NY to promote the upcoming release of Disney Junior’s “Mira, Royal Detective”! The screening was attended by some of the show’s cast and leading Hollywood South Asian actors: Kal Penn (voice of Mikku the mongoose), Aasif Mandvi (voice of Sahil, Mira’s father), Aparna Nancherla (voice of Meena, Mira’s cousin), and newcomer Leela Ladnier (voice of Mira).

"Mira, Royal Detective" is almost here! Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series introduces a brave and resourceful girl named Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. The show features some of the top South Asian actors in Hollywood, including Jameela Jamil, Freida Pinto, Kal Penn, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Hannah Simone, Aasif Mandvi, and Aparna Nancherla. "Mira, Royal Detective" will debut on Disney Channel and Disney Junior on Friday, March 20.
