First look at the animated characters of Disney Junior's Mira, Royal Detective

We're getting one step closer to the premiere of "Mira, Royal Detective!" Entertainment Weekly just dropped an exclusive look at the all-star cast and their characters. Newcomer, Leela Ladnier will be voicing the lead, "Mira," —with strong support from, Freida Pinto, Jameela Jamil, Kal Penn, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Aparna Nancherla, Aasif Mandvi and Hannah Simone.

Veylex was recently invited to a press screening of the series and all we can say is that the we have a hit! Although, there is no official release date for the "Royal Detective," We're sure Disney will be releasing premiere dates soon enough. Until then, check out these awesome first looks!

Jameela Jamil of the The Good Place will be voicing, Auntie Pushpa.

Kal Penn (House) provides the voice for the adorable Mikku, one of Mira’s mongoose sidekicks.

Utkarsh Ambudkar (The Mindy Project) lends his voice to Chikku, Mira’s other mongoose sidekick.

Aparna Nancherla (BoJack Horseman) portrays Mira’s cousin Meena.

Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show) voices Mira’s father, Sahil.

Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) voices Queen Shanti, the regal figure who hires Mira to investigate mysteries in the kingdom.

Hannah Simone (New Girl) takes on the character of Pinky, a young commoner.
