Introducing Mohana Krishnan of Nickelodeon's hit show "I Am Frankie"
We're always happy when we spot a South Asian artist on television! Mohana Krishnan is a series regular on the hit Nickelodeon show I Am Frankie.
Krishnan showed an interest in acting from an early age. Her parents enrolled her in Plano Children's Theatre where she started to develop her acting chops. Her passion for acting continued to grow and in the summer of 2015 she joined Cathryn Sullivan's acting studio in Lewisville, Texas. A few months after that she was picked up for representation by the Kim Dawson Agency. She started auditioning and in the summer of 2016 she was one of twelve kids out of a nationwide search to be selected for "Nick Sketch Live 2016", a two-week intensive training camp at the legendary "Groundlings" Acting school in Hollywood, California. Shortly after the training camp she landed a Series Regular role as "Tammy Gilroy" on Nickelodeon's TV series, I Am Frankie. The series premiered in the fall of 2017 and got picked up for a second season currently airing on Nickelodeon.
This talented beauty has had a whirlwind ride in the entertainment world and we're here for it! It brings us so much joy to know Desi kids get to tune into a popular show on Nickelodeon and see themselves on screen. We're so proud of Krishnan's success and can't wait to see more from her!
