Payal Kadakia Pujji takes Class Plass global

Payal Kadakia Pujji is the founder and executive chairwoman of ClassPass. Words that come to mind when we think of Payal are BADASS BOSS!!! She was a disrupter in the system by launching ClassPass back in 2013. The company has had tremendous growth in just a few short years. ClassPass has just raised $85 million in venture capital to expand in 10 more U.S. cities and new markets overseas! This is an enormous achievemnt and we are so thrilled for Payal and her team!

Payal talks about this trailblazing accomplishment, "Less than 0.5% of female founded startup companies make it past a Series C,” so to have raised this successful Series D is not just a huge win for me and ClassPass but for us all. I am so honored to be part of the movement to change the landscape for women entrepreneurs and I am proud that ClassPass is a female-founded company that has now raised over $250M in funding!"

Payal tells Forbes magazine how, "she hopes her startup journey and recent fundraise encourages female founders to think on a global scale from the get-go. “To think I started this company thinking it was going to just be in New York City and then take this model to rest of world is amazing to me. When you have this vision in mind you can achieve it because that’s what technology and investments can do.”

We're so proud of our sister and are looking forward to seeing her continue to thrive! Check out a clip from her interview with Forbes magazine below!
