Jay Chandrasekhar to release "Super Troopers 2"

Jay Chandrasekhar’s cult classic Super Troopers is finally getting a sequel!!! In 2015, The Broken Lizard comedy troupe — Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske created a crowdfunding campaign through INDIEGOGO that ended up raising $4.4 million from over 50,000 contributors! This is the second-most successful crowdfunding campaign ever for a movie!

This installment is once again directed by Chandrasekhar and written by the Broken Lizard crew. Variety reports, Super Troopers 2, like the first Super Troopers, is about a hapless crew of khaki-clad law enforcers who are supposed to be straight-arrows in uniform but are actually low-life druggies and idiots and wastrels with terrible mustaches. Who face off against another group of law enforcers. Who happen to be…Canadian.” The film is filled with fun cameos and is sure to become another classic!

We loved the original and catch it on tv all the time! Can’t wait to check out Super Troopers 2 tomorrow! Yea we’re kind of loving the 4/20 release date!!!
