KARAN OBEROI JOINS ROSWELL REBOOT

Karan Oberoi has been cast in the Roswell reboot! We were huge fans of the original series and can’t wait to watch the reboot! We have no doubt this reboot is going to be awesome! You can’t really go wrong with the extremely talented writer/producer Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries/ The Originals) directing the pilot that will be written by Carina MacKenzie (The Originals). We kinda couldn't get enough of both of their past supernatural shows full of hotties, so we can’t wait to watch this one! We love the diversity in the casting of this series! Oberoi is the perfect fit!

Like the original, the reimagined Roswell is based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, but the storyline will have an immigration twist. Deadline reports the new Roswell, " reflects the realities of its location in a state bordering Mexico. After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: He’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance."

In addition to Roswell, Oberoi has also booked a recurring role on Starz's second season of their hit spy thriller Counterpart. He will play Osman, a young, fast-rising interrogator within the Office of Interchange. We can’t wait to see this talented hottie on our screens this fall!!!
