Sa Dance Company's Broadway Debut
This year, The Children's Hope India Gala will be featuring notable talents for their 25th Anniversary. Joining the line-up of exciting performers is Sa Dance Company headed by Payal Kadakia. The group is known for their beautiful classical Indian and Bollywood fusion dance pieces. Sa Dance Company will be making their Broadway debut along side the upcoming performers of Mira Nair's Broadway Musical "Mansoon Wedding"! The Gala takes place Saturday October 28 and tickets are still available.
Sa Dance Company has been performing since 2009 and have been featured in publications like The New York Times, Elle Magazine, and News India Times just to name a few. The company's artistic goal is to increase the awareness of Indian dance in the mainstream. We love that we have a strong group of Indian women who are using their talents to make sure that we preserve South-Asian culture in a Western dominated society.
