Riz Ahmed to Star in Netflix's Hamlet

Off the heels of becoming the first Asian man to win an acting Emmy, Riz Ahmed will star in the lead role of Netflix's "Hamlet". The contemporary adaptation by writer Mike Lesslie (Assassin's Creed) will take place in modern-day London. The timeless story fits right into the world's political and economic backdrop. Ahmed was last seen in HBO's Girls, Netflix's OA, and Star Wars: Rogue One. Riz is also 1/3 of the hip hop rap group Swet Shop boys.

The Actor has also been rumored to be starring in the highly anticipated Spider-Man spin-off, "Venom" by Marvel and Sony Pictures.
