Kumail Nanjiani hosts Saturday Night Live with Season High ratings!
Last night we had out first Pakistani American, Kumail Najiani host Saturday night live. Kumail is the second brown comedian to host after Aziz Ansari earlier this year. Kumail's comedy background really showed last night as every skit he was in was seamless. Nanjiani opened with a solid monologue addressing racism in in America. "The inaccuracy of racism" and misinterpretation of Islam was definitely a strong theme in the opening. It was super relatable, clever and topical.
