Kumail Nanjiani to host "Saturday Night Live"

Alright guys the tides are turning! This year we had Aziz Ansari host SNL as the first South Asian host. For season 43 of the late variety show, SNL will have Kumail Nanjiani host episode 3 on October 14th with musical guest Pink.

Nanjiani stars in the HBO comedy "Silicon Valley." Season 5 of the series premieres in 2018. Kumail's Summer comedy feature "The Big Sick" grossed $40 million becoming the highest independent/platform release this year. The film also reported a $12 million Sundance acquisition. We'll be seeing a lot more Kumail in the future!
