Riz Ahmed wins Emmy for The Night Of
Well it's another win for brown people everywhere! Joining Aziz Ansari for tonight's Emmy wins. Riz MC takes home the 2017 Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a limited series or movie for his starring role in HBO’s The Night Of. There is literally no stopping this guy. Between starring as Nasir Khan on the HBO drama or playing Coachella with his group The Swet Shop Boys, Riz has been a busy man in 2017.
Riz goes down in history as the first Asian man to win an acting Emmy. He is currently filming the feature The Sisters Brothers along side Jake Gyllenhaal, Joaquin Phoenix, and John C. Reilly. He is also rumored to be starring in the Spider-Man spin off series, Venom.
